Busy Bumble Bees.

This week has been a busy one for us Daydream girls. This weekend marks the launch of The Kays Lavelle's album - 'Be Still This Gentle Morning'. The boys are beginning the merriment at their gig on Friday in Glasgow's Stereo, continuing on Saturday in Edinburgh's Wee Red Bar. I'm looking forward to partaking in a few drams with the guys in celebration, this time hopefully without Halina leaving me to wander the withering streets of Edinburgh!

This Friday is also playing host to an absolute beast of a gig with our boys Trapped in Kansas headlining, alongside The Darien Venture, Midnight Lion and .scores at Nice n Sleazy. Ooooft. Excuse me while I spaff, for both musical and facially haired reasons.

So Friday is going to be full of tough decisions. Two very special gigs, a whole army of fine looking gentlemen and more mind-blowing music than your ears could shake its temporal bone at.

Two of our bands. Two different venues. One night.

Halina and I are splitting up for the evening, so if you decide The Kays Lavelle are the sublime soundscapees for you, then be sure and say hello to Halina, if you're nice she might give you cake. But if you decide Trapped In Kansas are the musical mathematicians that float your boat, I will be there selling some top notch Trapped t-shirts on the merch table, so feel free to give me your chat.

It is the birthday of Esperi's Chris Lee-Marr today. I thought about getting him a gold watch as a gift, but remembered he already owns this exquisite number...

Yes, it is a gold watch. Yes, it is a female gold watch. Yes, it is a female gold watch which Chris found on the streets of Edinburgh. And Yes, it is a female gold watch which Chris found on the streets of Edinburgh and wore with magnificent pride. This watch alone made my Jagerbomb-ridden hangover the best I've ever had.

Happy Birthday Crispopher!

Iona x
